Concentrations

The Child Development concentration seeks to provide students with a study of children’s development from conception through emerging young adulthood, with an emphasis on early childhood.

The Child Life concentration seeks to provide students a foundational study of children’s development in order to provide developmentally-appropriate care in clinical settings.

The Family Life Education concentration seeks to provide students with a multi-contextual understanding of family dynamics in order to engage with families in preventive practices designed to encourage healthy functioning and well-being across the family lifecycle.

The Pre-Occupational Therapy concentration seeks to provide students with a foundational understanding of children’s development and family dynamics in preparation for admission to Occupational Therapy programs.
