MFT Program Admissions

*Apply by the Priority Application Deadline to secure your spot in the cohort! Applications received by February 15 will have the earliest review and notification timeline.
Admissions Criteria
- Completed baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution prior to program start date
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
- No GRE required
- No specific prerequisite courses required
- Successful completion of an admissions interview (recorded with the Kira platform or with the MFT faculty)
- Completed background check prior to matriculation
Application Requirements
- Online application through the Baylor Graduate School
- Three professional letters of recommendation:
- At least one letter from an individual who can speak to your work performance
- No letters should be submitted by family members
- Transcripts from all previous institutions (prior to graduation, transcripts should include grades earned at least one semester into your final year
- Three essay questions
- A curriculum vita that includes all related work experience, education history, volunteer/service experience, honors/awards, professional training, etc.
