Darren is an experienced clinical professor with a demonstrated history of engaging students, designing curriculum, and developing degree programs. He is a professional counselor and play therapist, skilled at a variety of interventions with children and families. Darren is also an experienced specialist in foster care, adoption, and camps for children with backgrounds of abuse and neglect. As an educated professional, he holds master's degrees in elementary education, practical theology, counseling psychology, and a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies (Work, Community, and Family Education). Darren is also a trained practitioner in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) and a CFLE (Certified Family Life Educator).
