David Yeung

David Yeung is a full time clinical assistant professor in the Department of Human Sciences and Design at Baylor University. He received both his BA (Hons) Fashion and MA Design Management at Northumbria University in the UK. He also received a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Technology) in Hong Kong. Prior to teaching at Baylor University, he has taught in Hong Kong, UK, Turkey, and China in fashion design, fashion illustration, draping, style and look, and design thinking. He also worked as a design consultant in different fashion disciplines such as women’s casual wear, men’s formal wear, children’s wear, jeans wear, maternity wear, uniform design and accessory design, etc.
David also published 2 fashion reference books. Namely, ‘Fashion is Cool’《时装有品》in Sept 2010, Hong Kong. In May 2013, the book was revised by Tsinghua University Press and was published in China. His second book ‘Fashion is Luxe’《时尚有价》was published in May 2016 in China by Tsinghua, too. Whilst teaching, he also showcased a lot of fashion work in China, South Korea, and the USA. Lately, he has been appointed as Member of International Fashion Art Network (IFAN), China 2021-2025; and Advisory Council Member, Fashion Business and Design, Lindenwood University, USA 2020 to date.
