Jennifer A. Wilfong, MA, RD, CSP, LD, FAND
Associated Faculty
Jennifer has served as an associated faculty member in the Department of Human Sciences and Design since 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition Science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She attended Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas Dietetic Internship where she became eligible to become a Registered Dietitian. Mrs. Wilfong holds a Board Certification in Pediatric Nutrition and is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Mrs. Wilfong has practiced as a clinical and consulting dietitian for the past 30 years. She has specialized training in FODMAPs as well as Baby Led Weaning. She is also a curriculum designer for Teachers Pay Teachers.
Mrs. Wilfong loves working with children and has been involved for several years in vacation Bible school as a teacher, director, and state instructor. She also helps coordinate operation Christmas Child at her local church. If she could do research, she would specialize in breast milk and the benefits for premature infants.
